The following information pertains to in-person events and screenings at the 2025 Tribeca Festival. This page will be updated on a rolling basis. The following information was updated April 2025.

Closed captions and audio descriptions

Tribeca makes best efforts to ensure that films that are part of the regular film program have closed captions available and encourages films to provide audio descriptions. As of April, Tribeca anticipates:

Note that the above is subject to change based on final film program and asset deliveries. The online 2025 Festival guide will be appropriately updated to indicate which screenings have closed captions and audio descriptions.

Onsite accessibility devices

Closed captioning, assisted listening and/or audio description devices will be available at regular screening venues, including:

Onsite venue staff will be available to assist with access to devices. Please direct any advanced questions or requests to accessibility@tribecafilm.com.

ASL interpreters:

ASL interpreters will be available by request for public Festival events and screenings. Tribeca will make best efforts to fulfill requests made by 14 days in advance of the screening or event. Requests can be made to accessibility@tribecafilm.com.

Note that new requests for ASL interpreters are now closed (as of June 1st). To inquire if an event has an ASL interpreter scheduled, please contact accessibility@tribecafilm.com.

Venue accessibility

Tribeca strives to use screening venues that are ADA compliant and accessible. 2025 public Festival events will take place at the following venues:

• AMC 19th St. East 6 - All theaters are wheelchair accessible.
• BMCC TPAC - Theater is wheelchair accessible.
• Beacon Theatre - Theater is wheelchair accessible. Reserved accessible and companion seats will be available on the designated event page at ticketmaster.com once tickets are on sale on April 29th.
• Carnegie Hall - Theater is wheelchair accessible.
• Mercer Labs - Venue is wheelchair accessible.
• Pier 57 - Venue is wheelchair accessible.
• SVA Theatre - Theaters are wheelchair accessible.
• Spring Studios - Note the accessible entrance for Spring Studios is located at 6 St. John’s Lane. (The primary entrance at 50 Varick Street does not have a lift or ramp.) Onsite staff and signage will be available to assist with directions and access to the entrance at 6 St. John’s Lane.
• United Palace - Theater is wheelchair accessible.
• Village East by Angelika All theaters are wheelchair accessible except for Village East theater 4 due to a temporary technical difficulty.
• Water Street Projects - Venue is wheelchair accessible.

Tribeca will endeavor to provide information regarding the number and location of wheelchair accessible seats at a particular venue. Requests for such information should be made to accessibility@tribecafilm.com.

Venue onsite assistance

For onsite accessibility needs at official Festival screening venues, please visit the line marked with the Universal Symbol of Accessibility at or near the main venue entrance. Here a member of our staff will assist with accommodation requests, such as access to available accessible seating, accessibility devices or other needs.

Tickets, Ticket Packages and Passes

Patrons with disabilities who purchase a ticket, ticket package or pass prior to accessibility information being posted will be entitled to a full refund if such patron has accessibility concerns in connection with any of the Festival venues.

Discounted industry passes are available by request. Please email accessibility@tribecafilm.com about availability.

Personal attendants and aides

Patrons who require a personal attendant to join them to events may request a complimentary ticket or access for a companion once 2025 Festival tickets are made available on April 29th.
