Meena Harris

Meena Harris is the founder & CEO of Phenomenal, the Tony Award®-winning media company and consumer brand that elevates the stories of underrepresented women. Also a lawyer and #1 New York Times bestselling children’s book author, Harris is a respected industry leader and influential voice for gender equity. Harris is the author of five children’s books, including #1 New York Times bestseller “Ambitious Girl” and “Kamala and Maya’s Big Idea.” Harris also co-produced the critically acclaimed Broadway musicals “Suffs” and “A Strange Loop,” which won the 2022 Tony Award for Best Musical. She is currently a co-producer on “John Proctor Is The Villain,” the most Tony-nominated play now on Broadway. In film, Harris is an executive producer on the award-winning women’s sports documentary “Maya and The Wave,” and Tribeca Festival winner “The Graduates.” Harris’ legal expertise is in the areas of cybersecurity, data privacy, and consumer protection. She’s also held leadership positions in early-stage startups as an operator, policy advisor, and investor at top tech companies like Meta, Uber, and Slack. Harris is a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Law School, and currently resides in the Bay Area with her husband and two daughters.
